Title:Uporaba očal navidezne resničnosti v logistiki

Abstract:Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na uporabo očal navidezne resničnosti v različnih delovnih procesih znotraj logističnega oddelka. Ob tem opišemo tudi uporabno vrednost takšne in podobnih tehnologij v različnih sektorjih, pri čemer je ena od takšnih tehnologij tudi razširjena resničnost. Na začetku pisanja naloge smo dobili priložnost preizkusa očal navidezne resničnosti. V tem času smo pregledali trenutni nabor orodja, ki ga je mogoče uporabiti v delovne namene. Zaradi dostopnosti očal je povpraševanje po programski opremi naraslo, posledično pa je tudi čedalje več razvijalcev, ki razvijajo tovrstna orodja. Z uporabo očal smo dobili občutek za delo z njimi, zato bomo v nadaljevanju lažje presodili njihovo uporabnost za določene naloge, pa tudi težave, s katerimi se sreča uporabnik. Sledi predstavitev obeh aktualnih tehnologij, njunih prednosti in strojne opreme, ki ju poganja. To poznavanje je pomembno za razvrščanje tehnologije za posamezne naloge. Nato predstavimo uporabnost teh tehnologij na različnih področjih, ki niso povezana z logistiko, da bi bolje razumeli dodano vrednost ob implementaciji. Za področje logistike pa poiščemo primere podjetij, ki so navidezno resničnost uporabila za določene namene v svojih procesih. V zadnjem poglavju s pomočjo pridobljenega znanja skozi raziskavo virov in študijskih primerov podamo primere, kako bi se obravnavana tehnologija lahko uporabila v prihodnosti.

Title:Usage of virtual reality glasses in logistics
Abstract:The diploma is based on the usage of virtual reality glasses in different processes inside the logistics department. The value of using this and similar technologies in different sectors has been described. Another similar technology is augmented reality. At the start of writing the diploma we got the chance to test out a pair of virtual reality glasses. This was useful for testing out different currently available tools. Because of the demand for such technology the amount of software has risen. While using the glasses we acquired the feeling of working with them, therefore it will be easier to judge their usability in different processes. Next to the benefits we also experienced the difficulties that come with using them. The following part consists of describing both technologies, explaining their benefits and describing the hardware behind them. This knowledge is important for differentiating the two technologies for specific tasks. In the next chapter we presented the usability of both in different industries that don’t include logistics. With this we acquired the knowledge of value added that they provide. For examples in logistics we found case studies of companies that have implemented it into their processes. The final part is a conclusion of the acquired knowledge through research of different sources and case studies. Based on these we provided examples of how the technology could be used in the future.
