Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo na širšem območju občine Slovenj Gradec analizirali trenutne razmere na področju ekološke pridelave. V raziskavi smo v vzorec za anketiranje zajeli 62,5 % oziroma 25 od 40 ekoloških kmetij v občini Slovenj Gradec. Anketni vprašalnik smo sestavili iz štirih vsebinskih sklopov: (I) značilnosti in struktura kmetij, (II) značilnosti ekološke pridelave, (III) sodelovanje s strokovnimi službami v kmetijstvu in (IV) trženje ekoloških pridelkov. V raziskavi smo ugotovili, da je kar 96 % anketiranih kmetovalcev zadovoljnih z delom strokovnih služb v kmetijstvu in z dostopnostjo informacij glede ekološkega kmetovanja. Več kot polovica anketiranih ekoloških kmetij (68 %) trži presežke svoje pridelave. Prav tako si v prihodnosti želi 48 % anketiranih kmetij povečati in razširiti ponudbo ekoloških pridelkov in živil. Iz izsledkov raziskave lahko razberemo tudi, da bi 55 % kmetij s strani pristojnih državnih služb potrebovalo večjo finančno pomoč, večjo propagando ekološkega kmetijstva pa si želi 33 % anketiranih kmetij.

Title:	Evaluation of organic food supply potential in the broader area of the Slovenj Gradec municipality
Abstract:	The aim of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the current production state of organic foods in the municipality of Slovenj Gradec. The research sample features 62,5 % (25 out of 40) of organic farms in the area. The survey questionnaire is composed of four parts: (I) the features and structure of the farms, (II) the features of organic production, (III) collaboration with the expert services in farming, and (IV) the marketing of organic goods. The survey shows that 96 % of the organic farms in the ares are satisfied with the work of the expert services and the access to information regarding organic farming. More than half the farms (68 %) are marketing their surplus goods. In the future, 48 % of the surveyed farms wish to develop and expand their supply of organic produce and foodstuffs. The research indicates that 55 % of the farmers would need additional financial help from the government and that 33 % feel that further promotion of organic farming is needed.
