Title:Pattern construction and modeling of clothing for a disproportionate plus-size female figure
Abstract:The purpose of this thesis was to deal with the problem of constructing a garment for a plus-size female figure. As a reference, we used a model with plus-size measurements. By constructing a basic fundimental cut and modeling it, we have made cut for a female asymmetric coat. For a more appropriate fit, we changed the basic sleeve cut into a raglan sleeve, which helped us to get a better fit. We used OptiTex software program, which gave us a 3D simulation, to check the fit. The result is a prototype, which fits neatly on the model.
