Pridobljene podatke smo analizirali ter jih prikazali s tabelami s pomočjo računalniškega programa Microsoft Word in Microsoft Excel. Rezultate smo obdelali s programom IBM SPSS, uporabili smo kvantitativne statistične metode.

Title:Leading elderly self-help groups
Abstract:Introduction: The purpose of this master work was to research the skills of team leaders of elderly self-help groups in the local community. We also researched problems that usually occur in meetings if self-care groups and the level of coexistence that may be achieved. Methods: Quantitative research methods were applied, data was gathered using structured questionnaire that consisted of 16 items in the month of April and May of 2018. Data were statically analysed and presented in tables using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS. Results: The respondents were all women, among them 40.3% reported to have 6-10 years of experiences in being the elderly self-help group leader and 29.0% reported long term experiences of 11 years or above. Nearly half of respondents (46.8%) reported to be adequately skilled as group leader and 38.7% reported to be perfectly skilled for this task. The importance of self-help groups for once health and intergenerational cooperation was evaluated as very high with the average grade of 4.6, highest grade was reported by 71.0% of respondents. Discussion and conclusion: The team-leading of elderly self-help groups was found to exhibit reciprocal benefits for all who are being involved. The team leaders are volunteers who were formally educated, primarily by workshops. They evaluated benefits of self-help groups in their own management of aging and improved health for all participants. The elderly self-help groups were established in Slovenia; currently they are also being implemented in Austria.
