Abstract:Raziskovalno delo diplomske naloge je obsegalo izdelavo krmilnega sistema za 3D tiskalnik. Izdelali smo krmilno ploščo, s katero smo komunicirali z robotom ABB preko RS232 vodila, krmilili koračni motor in regulirali temperaturo talilne šobe. Komunikacija v času tiskanja mora biti zanesljiva, saj prekinitev komunikacije pomeni zaustavitev tiskanja. Prav tako mora biti pomik koračnega motorja natančen. Na kvaliteto končnega izdelka tudi pomembno vpliva pravilna temperatura filamenta, saj le ta ne sme biti previsoka ali prenizka.

Title:Temperature control of the melting nozzle, control of stepper motor and communication between the robot controller abb irb 1200 and ti tms320
Abstract:Research work include production of a control system for a 3D printer. We designed a control panel to communicate with ABB robot via the RS232 bus, to control stepper motor and to adjust the temperature of the melting nozzle. Communication at time of printing must be reliable because if the communication is interrupted it means end of printing. Movements of the stepper motor also must be accurate. A quality of the printing can also be affected by the incorrect temperature of filament, because it can’t be too low or too high.
