Abstract:V rastni dobi leta 2017 smo izvedli poljski poskus, kjer smo preučevali stopnjo učinkovitosti različnih herbicidov za zatiranje nekaterih plevelov v pšenici (Triticum aestivum L.).

Title:Testing herbicide efficacy for weed control in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) growing
Abstract:In the 2017 growing season, a field experiment was conducted to study the efficacy degree of various herbicides for controlling weeds in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). We were also interested in whether the degree of weed control affects the amount of yield. The focus was mainly on the study of the efficacy of herbicides for controlling two grass species ie. common windgrass (Apera spica-venti) and field brome (Bromus arvensis). We studied the effects of commonly used herbicides such as Atlantis TCM WG®, Hussar Plus®, Axial One®, Pallas®, Aliance® and Trinity®. The results of the analysis showed that the studied herbicides have different levels of control of windgrass and field brome, and these differences in the degree of weed control efficiency between the different herbicide programs cause significant differences in the yield of wheat. The highest yield was obtained in plots treated with Atlantis TCM WG® (6799.7 kg ha-1), which at the same time effectively controlled the windgrass (96.2 %) and brome (98.7 %). The worst result was expected with the Trinity® herbicide, which was not used during the optimal phonological phase, but was achieved with application of herbicide Axial one®. In comparison with the Trinity® herbicide, Axial One® was better at controlling windgrass and brome, but the yield was nonetheless the lowest in that treatment.
