Title:Vzpostavitev metode za določanje reaktivnosti apnenčeve moke : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa I. stopnje

Abstract:V okviru diplomskega dela smo vzpostavili metodo za določanje reaktivnosti apnenčeve moke. Apnenčeva moka – apnenec, se uporablja za čiščenje dimnih plinov, natančneje za desulfurizacijo dimnih plinov. Reaktivnost apnenca je eden izmed parametrov njegove kvalitete. Poskuse smo izvedli z osmimi različnimi vzorci apnenčevih mok različnih proizvajalcev in iz različnih nahajališč. Reakcije smo izvajali v avtomatskem titratorju z HCl (c = 1 mol/L). Preučevali smo vpliv temperature na reaktivnost, zato smo eksperimente izvedli pri različnih temperaturah (20, 25 in 30) °C. Ugotovili smo, da se reaktivnost s temperaturo viša, zato je najvišja pri temperaturi 30 °C. Na enem izmed vzorcev smo izvedli še sejalno analizo. Primerjali smo reaktivnosti apnenčeve moke v odvisnosti od velikosti delcev materiala. Ugotovili smo, da se reaktivnost z manjšanjem velikosti delcev povečuje, nato se pri določeni velikosti ponovno zmanjša. Na trenutno uporabljenem vzorcu apnenčeve moke smo določili optimalno velikost zrn, pri kateri smo zabeležili največjo reaktivnost.

Title:Establishment of method for determination of reactivity of limestone
Abstract:In this work the method for determining the reactivity of limestone flour was established. The reactivity of limestone is one of the parameters of its quality, as it is used for cleaning of flue gases, more specifically for their desulfurization. Experiments were carried out on eight different samples of limestone flour, which have different sites and manufacturers. The reactions were performed in an automatic titrator with HCl (c = 1 mol/L) at a temperature of 20 ° C. We studied the influence of temperature on reactivity at temperatures (20, 25 and 30) ° C. It was found that reactivity is increasing with temperature and is the highest at a temperature of 30 ° C. The existing sample of limestone was used for the seed analysis. The comparison of the reactivity in dependence on the grain size of the material was carried out. It was found that the reactivity increases when grain size decreases. At certain size the reactivity starts to decrease again. We have determined the optimal grain size, which gives us the highest reactivity.
