Title:Povezanost aerobne vzdržljivosti in telesne samopodobe pri dečkih starih od 10 do 12 let

Abstract:Namen raziskave je bilo ugotoviti ali obstaja povezanost med aerobno vzdržljivostjo in telesno samopodobo pri dečkih starih od 10-12 let. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 218 otrok 2. triletja osnovnih šol Severovzhodnega dela Slovenije. Meritve so potekale na OŠ Franca Rozmana Staneta in OŠ Toneta Čufarja v Mariboru ter na OŠ Mala Nedelja, OŠ Šentilj, OŠ Podčetrtek, OŠ Lovrenc na Pohorju, OŠ Starše in OŠ Rogaška Slatina. Meritve aerobne vzdržljivosti so bile izmerjene s pomočjo Beep testa, podatke o telesni samopodobi dečkov starih od 10-12 let, pa smo dobili s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov, katere smo razdelili med učence v razredu. Starši otrok so bili s tem seznanjeni in so testiranje s podpisom tudi dovolili. Za preverjanje razlik med skupinami nizko, srednje in visoko vzdržljivih merjencev v parametrih telesne samopodobe, smo uporabili enosmerno analizo variance (ANOVA). Rezultati so pokazali, da dečki z nizko aerobno vzdržljivostjo vrednotijo precej nižje telesno samopodobo, kot tisti dečki, ki so visoko aerobno vzdržljivi. Prav tako vrednotijo nižje telesno samopodobo dečki s srednjo ravnjo vzdržljivosti, kot dečki z visoko ravnjo vzdržljivosti. Obstajajo tudi statistično značilne razlike med srednje in visoko vzdržljivimi dečki, kjer prav tako vrednotijo višje telesno samopodobo visoko vzdržljivi dečki. Ugotavljamo, da obstajajo statistično značilne razlike tudi v dojemanju splošne samopodobe, vzdržljivosti, športnih kompetenc, telesnega videza, ki so pomembni parametri telesne samopodobe. Najvišje vrednotijo vzdržljivost, športne kompetence, telesni videz in splošno samopodobo visoko vzdržljivi dečki. Le pri kategoriji vrednotenja telesne moči ne obstajajo statistično značilne razlike med skupinami merjencev z nizko, srednje in visoko vzdržljivostjo, saj so jo vsi merjenci ovrednotili zelo podobno. Iz rezultatov lahko torej razberemo, da je aerobna vzdržljivost močno povezana s telesno samopodobo merjencev, saj imajo višjo samopodobo prav tisti merjenci z višjo vzdržljivostjo.

Title:Connections of endurance and the physical self-concept in boy aged 10-12 years
Abstract:The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was an association between aerobic endurance and physical fitness in boys aged 10-12 years. The study involved 218 children from the 2nd year of elementary schools in the north-eastern part of Slovenia. Measurements were taken at the Franz Rozman Stanet Primary School and the Tone Čufar Primary School in Maribor, and the Mala Nedelja Primary School, the Šentilj Primary School, the Podčetrtek Primary School, the Lovrenc Primary School on Pohorje, the Starše Primary School and the Rogaška Slatina Primary School. Aerobic endurance measurements were measured using a Beep test, and data on the physical self-image of boys aged 10-12 were obtained using questionnaires, which were distributed to students in the classroom. The parents of the children were aware of this and also allowed signature testing. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to test for differences between groups of low-, medium-, and high-tenacity measures in body self-image parameters. The results showed that boys with low aerobic endurance value significantly lower physical self-esteem than those boys with high aerobic endurance. They also value lower body self-esteem for boys of medium endurance than boys with high endurance. There are also statistically significant differences between middle and high endurance boys, where they also value higher body image of high endurance boys. We find that there are statistically significant differences also in the perception of general self-image, endurance, sports competences, physical appearance, which are important parameters of physical self-image. The most valuable are endurance, athletic competence, physical appearance and overall self-image of high-endurance boys. Only in the category of body strength evaluation are there no statistically significant differences between the groups of low, medium and high endurance meters, as all the evaluators evaluated it very similarly. From the results, we can conclude that aerobic endurance is strongly associated with the physical self-image of the subjects, since those with higher endurance have the higher self-image.
