Title:Usklajevanje zasebnega in poklicnega življenja pravosodnih policistov : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje

Abstract:V diplomskem delu predstavljamo raziskavo o prisotnosti koncepta konflikta med delom in družino pri pravosodnih policistih, ki je tesno povezan z usklajevanjem delovnega in družinskega življenja. Konflikt med delom in družino se pojavi, ko posameznik ne zmore izpolnjevati pričakovanja, zahteve in odgovornosti v družinskem in zasebnem ter poklicnem okolju hkrati. Poznamo tri oblike konflikta, in sicer na časovni, obremenitveni in vedenjski konflikt. Časovni konflikt je vezan na časovne zahteve dela kot so nadurno delo in izmene, prav tako tudi obremenitveni konflikt. Izbruh vedenjskega konflikta, pa povzročijo določeni vzorci vedenja, ki so nujni pri opravljanju poklica, a so nesprejemljivi v družinskem in zasebnem življenju. Namen naše študije je bil ugotoviti, ali pravosodni policisti zaradi narave svojega dela, ki ga opravljajo, čutijo katerega izmed oblik konflikta med delom in družino (zasebnim življenjem). Zato smo v juliju 2019 v Zavodu za prestajanje kazni zapora Dob anketirali 55 pravosodnih policistov zaposlenih na odprtem, polodprtem in zaprtem oddelku. Izsledki raziskave so pokazali, da se pri pravosodnih policisti pojavljajo vse tri oblike konflikta med delom in družino. Namreč delo pravosodnih policistov zahteva opravljanje nadur ter prevzemanje dodatnih izmen, ki se kažejo v obliki časovnega in obremenitvenega konflikta. Pri vedenjskem konfliktu je sicer statistična analiza pokazala povezanost vedenjskega konflikta z delom pravosodnih policistov, a glede na oblikovane trditve v anketi, menimo, da temu ni tako. Zaključimo lahko, da pravosodni policisti imajo težave pri usklajevanju poklicnega in zasebnega življenja.

Title:Coordinating of private and professional life of judical prison officers
Abstract:In our diploma thesis, we present a survey on the presence of the concept of work-family conflict on judical prison officers, which is closely linked to coordination of work and family life. Work-family conflict occurs when an individual fails to meet the expectations, demands and responsibilities in the family, private and professional environments at the same time. There are three forms of conflict: time-based, strain-based and behaviour-based conflict. Time-based conflict is related to the demands of work such as overtime and work shifts as well as strain-based conflict. Outbreak of behaviour-based conflict is caused by certain patterns of behaviour that are necessary in the pursuit of the profession but are unacceptable in family and private life. The purpose of our study was to determinate whether judical prison officers feel any form of family-work conflict due to the nature of their profession. In July 2019 we interviewed 55 judical prison officers employed in an open, semi-open and closed department of correctional facility Dob. The findings of our survey showed that all three forms of work-family conflict are occurring in judical prison officers lives. Namely, work of judical prison officers requires working overtime and taking additional shifts which are manifested in the form of time- and strain-based conflict. In the case of behaviour-based conflict, the statistical analysis showed link between the behaviour-based conflict and the work of judical prison officers, but regard of the statements made in the questionnaire, we believe that this is not the case. It can be concluded that judical prison officers have difficulties with coordination of professional and private life.
