Abstract:Na današnjem slovenskem ozemlju se je do danes ohranil velik delež historičnih orgel. Posledično so historična glasbila preživela številna popravila, povečave in predelave, zaradi česar je velika večina ohranjenih orgel izgubila svojo prvotno podobo.

Title:Workshop of a travelling organ builder, Marcus Göbl, and problems of historic organs in Slovenia
Abstract:On today's Slovenian territory, a large part of historical organs has been preserved. The reason for the high number of preserved historical organs is their monumental value and the fact that in the past, as well as today, a new musical instrument represented a huge financial burden for a parish, which most of them could not afford. Consequently, the historical musical instruments survived numerous repairs, enlargements and treatments, resulting in a large part of the preserved organs losing their original appearance. Among the preserved historical organs, there are also musical instruments from the Carniolan workshop of Marcus Göbl. Göbl's workshop is considered to be the organ workshop with the longest tradition in Carniola since it has been producing many musical instruments for many years after the death of its founder, Marcus Göbl. In it, at least thirty-six instruments were made, of which twenty-five have been preserved to date. Today, the preserved musical instruments mostly stand on chancels of Slovenian churches. Some of these organs were reconstructed and are functioning, while the rest of Göbl's workshop musical instruments is still waiting for their deserved restoration.
