Title:Svetlobno onesnaženje – projektni pristop v srednješolskem izobraževanju

Abstract:Svetlobno onesnaženje je hitro rastoč globalni okoljski problem sodobne družbe in kot tak vreden omembe in obravnave v procesu izobraževanja. Osrednji namen magistrskega dela je bil na podlagi teoretične analize problema svetlobnega onesnaženja pripraviti didaktična gradiva za srednješolsko izobraževanje na temo svetlobno onesnaženje. V teoretičnem delu so povzeta ključna strokovna spoznanja o obravnavani problematiki. Z vidika vključenosti teme svetlobno onesnaženje so analizirani izbrani učni načrti in aktualni učbeniki sekundarnega nivoja izobraževanja v Sloveniji ter srednješolski učni načrti splošnoizobraževalnih predmetov izbranih evropskih držav ter opisane teoretične značilnosti projektnega učnega dela. V empiričnem delu je načrtovan primer projektnega učnega dne, vključujoč vsa didaktična gradiva, priporočila in navodila za njegovo celovito izvedbo na temo svetlobno onesnaženje v gimnaziji. Za dijake so izdelana učna gradiva s teoretičnimi izhodišči svetlobnega onesnaženja, naloge z navodili za njihovo samostojno izvedbo terenskih meritev svetlobnega onesnaženja (meritve sija neba, zajem vsenebnih posnetkov, popis zunanje razsvetljave) izbranega območja in delovni listi z navodili ter nalogami za samostojno obdelavo, prikaz in analizo na terenu zbranih rezultatov, in sicer rož svetlobnega onesnaženja, vsenebnih posnetkov, popisa zunanje razsvetljave ter karte svetlobnega onesnaženja preučevanega območja. Za izvedbo vseh načrtovanih ter pripravljenih aktivnosti v okviru načrtovanega projektnega učnega dne so izdelana tudi didaktična priporočila in navodila za učitelje z vzorčnim primerom.

Title:Light Pollution – Project Approach in Middle School Education
Abstract:Light pollution can be considered a quickly growing global environmental problem of our modern society and is as such worth being mentioned and discussed in the process of education. The focal purpose of this master's thesis was to prepare didactic study materials for high school education on the topic of light pollution based on the theoretical analysis of the problem of light education. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes key insights about the discussed issue. From the perspective of the inclusion of the theme light pollution certain curricula and current textbooks of secondary level of education in Slovenia, high school curricula of general education subjects of certain European countries and defined theoretical aspects of project teaching work were analysed. The empirical part outlines an example of a project learning day regarding the topic of light pollution in a gymnasium, including all didactic materials, recommendations and the instructions for its complete implementation. Students can use designed lesson materials with a theoretical basis regarding light pollution, tasks combined with instructions in order to let the students do their field measurements regarding light pollution independently on their own (measurements of the glow of the sky, capturing of all-sky recordings, making lists of external lighting) in a selected area and worksheets with instructions and exercises for the independent processing of data, the demonstration and the analysis of the results collected throughout field measurements. The results contain the analyses of the light pollution roses, all-sky recordings, list making of external lighting and the maps of light pollution of the studied areas. For the successful implementation of all the prepared activities within the planned project learning day we provide teachers with didactic recommendations and instructions with a good sample case of such a project learning day.
