Title:ANALIZA MOŽNOSTI IZKLJUČITVE ČRPALKE HLADILNE VODE KONDENZATORJA NUKLEARNE ELEKTRARNE KRŠKO

Abstract:V diplomskem delu so opisane ključne komponente sekundarnega in terciarnega kroga Nuklearne elektrarne Krško ter njihovo delovanje. S preračunom oziroma analizo smo želeli ugotoviti, ali bi elektrarna obratovala stabilno, če bi izključili eno črpalko hladilne vode kondenzatorja, in kako bi se pri tem spremenili parametri elektrarne. Analiza je pokazala, da obratovanje z dvema črpalkama s tehničnega vidika ni problematično, z ekonomskega pa nesmiselno, tudi ob idealnih pogojih za celoten termodinamski proces. Zmanjšanje lastne rabe, ki se zgodi ob izklopu črpalke, ne pokrije padca v omrežje oddane moči. Razlog temu je poslabšanje ključnih termodinamičnih parametrov krožnega procesa NEK.

Title:ANALYSIS OF POSSIBILITY TO DISCONNECT ONE OF CONDENSER'S CIRCULATING WATER PUMPS IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT KRŠKO
Abstract:The diploma thesis presents the key components and basic operational principles of Nuclear power plant Krško's secondary and tertiary systems. Calculations and analysis were used to establish whether the operation of the NPP would remain stable if one of the condenser’s circulating water pumps was disconnected and how this would change the NPP parameters. Analyses indicate that operating with two pumps would not be problematic; however, from a commercial perspective, such operation would not make sense, in spite of ideal conditions. The reduction of auxiliary consumption thatoccurs when a pump is turned offnever compensates for the drop of the power generated at the generator. The reason is thedeterioration of key thermodynamic parameters of the NPP Krško cycle.
