Title:Optimizacija topologije zavornih čeljusti : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava optimizacijo topologije zavornih čeljusti. Najprej je prikazan analitični preračun obremenitev zavornih čeljusti. Nato sem naredil volumski model in mu dodal različne robne pogoje, materialne lastnosti in ga zamrežil s končnimi elementi. Narejena je optimizacija topologije v programu ProTOp, s tehnološkimi pogoji in brez njih, ter primerjava rezultatov. Z MKE analizo je prikazan vpliv temperaturnega raztezanja materiala in opis možnih posledic. Na koncu je opisana priprava modela za nadaljnjo uporabo. Dobljeni rezultati dokazujejo, da z zmanjšanjem teže zavorne čeljusti še zmeraj opravljajo svojo funkcijo.

Title:Topology optimization of the brake caliper
Abstract:The Undergraduate Thesis deals with the topology optimization of the brake calipers. First, the analytical calculation of the loads on the brake calipers is shown. Then I made the volume model and added different boundary conditions, material properties and meshed it with the finite elements. Topology optimization has been made with computer software ProTOp with and without technological constraints and comparison of results. FEM analysis has been used to show the influence of temperature expansion of the material, and to describe possible consequences. Finally, there is a description of model preparation for further use. The obtained results show that by reducing their weight, brake calipers can still perform their original function.
