Title:Znotrajcelični antioksidativni potencial ekstraktov različnih sort paradižnika

Abstract:Plodovi paradižnika vsebujejo različne snovi z antioksidativnimi lastnostmi, vendar med različnimi sortami paradižnika prihaja do razlik v tipih in koncentracijah teh antioksidativnih snovi. Ker je paradižnik v središču številnih epidemioloških raziskav, ki potrjujejo pozitivne učinke na zdravje ljudi, smo želeli preveriti znotrajcelični antioksidativni potencial ekstraktov različnih sort paradižnika z uporabo barvila DCFH-DA na makrofagni celični liniji TLT. V raziskavi smo uporabili 39 različnih sort paradižnika. Z uporabo celičnega modela v pogojih in vitro so rezultati potrdili različen znotrajcelični antioksidativni potencial pri različnih sortah paradižnika. Ugotovili smo, da je imela najvišji znotrajcelični antioksidativni potencial sorta paradižnika 'Osu Blue', najnižjega pa sorta 'Ildi'. V povrečju so najbolj zavirale oksidativni stres sorte z vijoličasto obarvanimi plodovi, najmanj pa tiste z oranžnimi plodovi. Korelacije med antioksidativnim potencialom in vsebnostjo suhe snovi, titracijskimi kislinami ali vsebnostjo vitamina C v plodu nismo ugotovili.

Title:Intracellular antioxidative potential of different tomato variety extracts
Abstract:Tomato fruits contain various substances with antioxidant properties, but there are differences in the types and concentrations of these antioxidant substances among the different varieties of tomatoes. Because epidemiological findings confirm the observed positive effects on human health, the aim of the study was to determine intracellular antioxidative potential od different tomato variety extracts using the DCFH-DA dye on the TLT macrophage cell line. In the study we used 39 different varieties of tomatoes. Using the cell model in vitro, the results confirmed different intracellular antioxidant potential in different tomato varieties. We found that the highest intracellular antioxidative potential had the tomato variety 'Osu Blue' and the lowest 'Ildi'. Varieties with violet-colored fruits inhibited oxidative stress the most and the least affective were varieties with orange-colored fruits. Correlations between the antioxidative potential and the dry matter content, titration acids or the content of vitamin C in the tomato fruit have not been established.
