Title:Zavarovanje reliefnih sledi obuval z mavcem : diplomsko delo visokošolskega študijskega programa Informacijska varnost

Abstract:V teoretičnem delu zaključnega dela z naslovom Zavarovanje reliefnih sledi obuval z mavcem predstavimo osnove, ki so potrebne za uspešno zavarovanje sledi obuval z mavcem. Predstavimo nekaj osnov forenzične znanosti ter vse njene segmente, ki spadajo v okvir te tematike. Osredotočili smo se na nastanek sledi podplata obuvala ter vse značilnosti, ki so pri tem pomembne. Značilnosti lahko pojmujemo tudi kot informacije, na podlagi katerih je možno ugotavljati ujemanje med preiskovano sledjo in podplatom določenega obuvala. Pri tem nas je zanimalo predvsem, ali se v idealnih pogojih tridimenzionalne značilnosti prenesejo s podplata obuvala na podlago brez večjih izgub informacij ter ali lahko te informacije zajamemo z mavčnim odlitkom in jih tam kasneje tudi nespremenjene zaznamo. V eksperimentalnem delu opišemo celoten potek eksperimenta ter naredimo primerjave med sledmi, mavčnimi odlitki in podplati obuval. Celoten potek eksperimenta je tudi slikovno dokumentiran, kar smo za boljšo predstavo in lažje razumevanje vsebine uporabili tudi v zaključnem delu. Pred pričetkom izdelave zaključne naloge ter pred izvedbo eksperimenta smo oblikovali tri hipoteze. Tako smo predpostavljali, da se bodo s podplata na podlago prenesle vse njegove individualne značilnosti. Hkrati s tem se bodo prenesle tudi vse informacije tridimenzionalnih individualnih značilnosti. Ravno tako smo predpostavili, da zavarovanje reliefnih sledi obuval z mavcem omogoča zajem vseh tridimenzionalnih značilnosti brez pomembne izgube informacij. Vse tri zastavljene hipoteze smo lahko potrdili, v največji meri zaradi idealnih pogojev, ki smo jih vzpostavili za izvedbo eksperimenta.

Title:Casting footwear impressions with plaster
Abstract:This thesis entitled Casting footwear impressions with plaster, examined the fundamentals necessary for successful casting of footwear impressions. We have presented some of the essentials of forensic science and all of its associated segments. We also focus on the footprint of footwear and all its characteristics. Characteristics can also be named as information, from which we can trace the specific sole of a particular footwear. We researched whether in ideal conditions, the three-dimensional characteristics are transferred from the footwear to the footwear cast, without any significant loss of information, and whether this information can be captured unchanged and with a plaster cast. In the experimental work, we described the whole process, and made comparisons between traces, gypsum casts and footwear soles. We also recorded the whole experimental project with the pictures, which we used later in the thesis itself. At the beginning of our experimental work, we developed three hypotheses. We assumed that the footwear’s sole and all of its individual characteristics would be transferred from the sole to the base. At the same time, all of the three-dimensional individual features will be transferred. We also assumed that casting the footwear trail relief with plaster, permits capture of all three-dimensional features, without significant loss of information. We confirmed all of the three hypotheses, mainly because of the ideal conditions in which the experiment was set.
