Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Študenti so v današnjem času ena izmed družbenih skupin, ki so čedalje bolj izpostavljeni stresnemu življenju.

Research methodology: To conduct the research considered in presented thesis, a descriptive and quantitative method has been used. Research questionnaire with 16 questions had been prepared, and survey performed with sample of 147 individuals. Results have been processed with MS Excel, and presented with charts. Results: It had been concluded, that stress is a great factor in reducing studying effectiveness, at interviewed students of both faculties. Methods of coping with stress are various, among students of both faculties, most common of which are sport activities, socializing and relaxing in nature. Conclusion: It is important for students that they find reasonable amount of free time, regardless of method of study and study activities, as it appears that free-time activities help to improve life quality or in other words, life with less stress.
