Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava izdelavo samostojne avtomatske opazovalnice živali s pomočjo računalnika Raspberry Pi. Najprej je predstavljena oprema, ki smo jo potrebovali pri izdelavi opazovalnice. Glavna strojna oprema je enoploščni računalnik Raspberry Pi 3 (model B), na katerega smo namestili operacijski sistem Raspbian in programski jezik Python ter nastavili varen oddaljen dostop preko protokola SSH. Nato razložimo, kako smo s pomočjo sončne celice z izhodno močjo 15 W, regulatorja, ter akumulatorja z 12 V napetostjo in kapaciteto 7,2 Ah sestavili napajalni sistem ter nanj povezali računalnik Raspberry Pi s kamero Pi NoIR. V diplomski nalogi predstavimo tudi rezultate avtomatskih opazovanj manjših živali pri različnih pogojih osvetlitve.

Title:Automatic animals observatory on the Raspberry Pi platform
Abstract:The thesis describes the creation of an automatic animals observatory with the Raspberry Pi computer. First, we present the components that we used for making of the observatory. The main hardware is comprised of the Raspberry Pi 3 computer that runs the Raspbian operating system as well as the Python programming language and remote access via SSH. The power supply is provided by the 15 W solar panel, regulator, as well as the 12 V battery with 7.2 Ah capacity. Special attention is also paid to minimization of energy consumption by the Raspberry Pi and Pi NoIR camera. Finally, we present the results of automatic observation of smaller animals at varying lighting conditions.
