Title:Razvoj in izdelava pripomočka za lajšanje simptomov valgusne deformacije nožnega palca s pomočjo dodajalnih tehnologij : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Magistrska naloga obravnava problem valgusne deformacije nožnega palca, ki je ena izmed najpogostejših deformacij stopal. Razvili smo dva pripomočka oz. vložka, ki sta prilagojena posamezniku in sta namenjena lajšanju simptomov omenjene deformacije. Vložka smo izdelali z dvema različnima tipoma dodajalnih tehnologij SLS in SLA, s katerima smo prototipe hitro izdelali in jih spreminjali. Pri razvoju smo upoštevali obliko in velikost stopala ter porazdelitev ploskovnih tlakov. Končne izdelke smo preverili s strani končnega uporabnika – osebe z deformacijo, kjer smo prišli do ugotovitve, da se je vložek z vzmetmi, narejen s tehnologijo SLS, hitro plastično deformiral in ni primeren za uporabo, medtem ko je silikonski vložek, narejen s pomočjo tehnologije SLA, dosegel zastavljene cilje.

Title:Development and manufacture of a product to alleviate symptoms of hallux valgus using additive technologies
Abstract:The Master’s Thesis deals with the problem of Hallux Valgus, which is one of the most common foot deformations. We have developed two insoles adjusted to an individual user and aimed at alleviating the symptoms of this deformation. We have designed the insoles with two different types of additive manufacturing, SLS and SLA, with which we made our prototypes fast yet customizable. At product development we considered the shape and size of the foot and surface pressure distribution. The final products were tested by end user, who has this deformation. We identified that the insole with springs, made with the SLS technology, plastically deformed fast and became useless, while the silicon insole, made with the SLA technology, reached our objectives.
