Title:Zaznavanje kretenj s pulzno koherentnimi radarskimi senzorji

Abstract:Zaznavanje kretenj je ena izmed vrst uporabniške interakcije s strojem, zato smo se odločili, da bomo s pomočjo magistrskega dela izdelali strojno in programsko opremo, ki omogoča zaznave kretenj s pomočjo pulzno koherentnih radarskih senzorjev, ki delujejo na osnovi elektromagnetnega valovanja v področju radijskih frekvenc. Izdelana je bila strojna oprema, ki je sposobna zaznave objektov v želenem pasu detekcije, prav tako je bila izdelana procesna programska oprema za vizualizacijo in shranjevanje podatkov, prejetih iz senzorjev. Narejen je bil praktični primer uporabe tovrstne tehnologije. Podatke s senzorja smo zajemali in obdelovali v realnem času na dveh različnih strojnih opremah, saj smo z aplikativnim uporabniškim vmesnikom imeli različne funkcionalnosti vgrajene programske opreme glede na uporabljeno strojno opremo. Na koncu so predstavljeni rezultati in prikazane nadaljnje potencialne rešitve zastavljenega problema.

Title:Gesture recognition with pulsed coherent radar sensors
Abstract:Gesture recognition is a type of user interaction with a machine and with the help of our master’s thesis, hardware and software were developed, which enable gesture recognition with pulsed coherent radar sensors, which operate on the basis of electromagnetic waves in the radio-frequency technology. Hardware and software were constructed which are capable of detecting an object in a desired detection band, as well as process software for visualizing and storing data received by sensors. A practical case of using this kind of technology was made. We used two different hardware configurations to capture data from the sensor, because the application programming interface depended on the hardware we were using. Data captured from sensors was then sent and processed on computer in real time. Finally, the results are presented and also potential solutions for future use and further development of the system are proposed.
