Opis:Magistrsko delo z naslovom Kaj o ognju vedo in kako z njim ravnajo učenci drugega triletja sestavljata 2 zaključeni celoti, ki se med seboj dopolnjujeta ter nadgrajujeta – teoretični in empirični del. Teoretični del sestavljajo naravoslovni, didaktični in geografski sklop. V naravoslovnem sklopu sta pojasnjena pojma ogenj in gorenje ter uporaba ognja in odnos do njega, opisan je pogled človekovega odnosa do ognja skozi zgodovino ter opredeljeni požari, njihove posledice in gašenje. Medtem sestavlja didaktični sklop analiza vseh učnih načrtov za pouk naravoslovja v osnovni šoli s stališča ognja, v geografskem sklopu pa sta opisani občini Trnovska vas in Ptuj, kjer stojita osnovni šoli, ki ju obiskujejo v raziskavo vključeni učenci. V empiričnem delu je opisana raziskava, katere namen je bil ugotoviti, kaj vedo učenci drugega triletja o ognju in požarih ter kako ravnajo v zvezi z njima. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 186 učencev drugega triletja OŠ Mladika (n = 80) in OŠ Destrnik-Trnovska vas (n = 88), od tega 87 dečkov in 81 deklic četrtega (n = 54), petega (n = 80) in šestega (n = 34) razreda. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da vedo učenci petega razreda iz OŠ Destrnik-Trnovska vas o ognju več in z njim tudi najodgovorneje ravnajo ter da vključenost v gasilsko organizacijo ne vpliva na pravilnejše vedenje ali ravnanje z ognjem in požari.

Naslov:What do secondary school students know about fire and how they handle it?
Opis:The master’s thesis with the title What do secondary school students know about fire and how they handle it is composed of the two complete units which are supplemented and upgraded by each other – the theoretical and the empirical part. The theoretical part is composed of natural-sciences, didactic, and geographical complexes. In the natural-sciences complex the conceptions of the fire and burning, the use of the fire, and the relationship towards it are explained. The perspective of the human’s relationship towards the fire through the history is described. The fires, their consequences, and distinguishing are defined. Meanwhile, the didactic complex is composed of the analysis of all the curricula for the school lessons of natural sciences in the elementary school from the perspective of the fire. In the geographical complex, the settlements Trnovska vas and Ptuj are described where there are the elementary schools where students included in the research are enrolled. In the empirical part, the research is described. Its intention was to ascertain what secondary school students know about the fire and fires, and how they handle in connection with that. 186 secondary school students of the Mladika Elementary School (n = 80) and the Destrnik-Trnovska vas Elementary School (n = 88) were included in the research, of them 87 boys and 81 girls of the fourth (n = 54), fifth (n = 80) and the sixth (n = 34) grade. It was ascertained that the students of the fifth grade of the Destrnik-Trnovska vas Elementary School know about the fire the most, that they handle it most responsibly, and that the inclusion into the firefighting organization does not influence the more appropriate behavior or handling with fire and fires.
