Finančni rezultat v konvencionalnem obdobju pridelave znaša 286,44 €, v preusmeritvenem obdobju 991,50 € in v ekološkem obdobju 1.354,86 €.

Title:Feasibility analysis of organic sugar beet production in slovenia
Abstract:After more than a decade, farmers in Slovenia started to produce sugar beet again, while is had been widespread in Europe for a long time. There is more and more talk and decision making about ecological farming and organic production. This diploma thesis presents the prevalence of sugar beet production in Slovenia and Europe, and the production of organic sugar beet production in Europe at the same time. The thesis also presents a redesigned plan of sugar beet production. To evaluate the economy we developed, with usage of common cost model, a technological-economic simulation model for specific surgace of beet production. During the development of the technological-economic model, we were able to evaluate the economic viability of a conversion to organic sugar beet production. The conversion plan was made for a conventional, conversion and ecological period. The financial result for the conventional period is 286,44 €, conversion 991,50 € and in ecological 1.354,86 €. The diploma thesis also presents a SWOT analysis. All results are purely theoretical, as currently there is no plant for the production of organic beet in Slovenia.
