Title:Centralni nadzor nad strežniško sobo z uporabo računalnika Raspberry Pi

Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo izdelali centralni nadzorni sistem nad strežniško sobo, ki temelji na uporabi mikroračunalnika Raspberry Pi. Glavni nadzorni del je bil razvit v programskem jeziku Python. Sistem s pomočjo raznih senzorjev nadzoruje vrednosti, kot so temperatura, vlaga, plin, dim in svetilnost. Ves čas so pod nadzorom tudi vsa pomembna vozlišča in pa vsi dogodki v strežniški sobi. To pomeni, da če je zaznano gibanje, odpiranje vrat, oken ali pa da je katero od vozlišč nedosegljivo, bo o tem poslano obvestilo. Na podlagi izmerjenih vrednosti je poslano primerno E-mail in SMS sporočilo vsem odgovornim osebam. Pošiljanje SMS sporočil je implementirano s pomočjo mikrokrmilnika Arduino UNO, ki ima nameščen GSM vmesnik. Vse meritve se sproti shranjujejo v relacijsko podatkovno bazo, preko MS SQL strežnika. Za pregled vseh meritev je bila izdelana tudi aplikacija z uporabo ogrodja Windows Forms.

Title:Central control of the server room using a Raspberry Pi computer
Abstract:In this graduation thesis we developed a central control system of the server room, based on the use of the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. The main control part was developed in the Python programming language. The system controls various values such as; temperature, humidity, gas, smoke and luminosity using various sensors. All of the important network nodes and all the events that happen in the server room are also under control. This means that if a movement, opening of a door or window, is detected or if a node is unreachable, a notification will be sent. Based on the measured values, an appropriate E-mail and SMS message is sent to all responsible personnel. Sending of SMS messages is implemented by using an Arudino UNO microcontroller, which has a GSM interface installed. All measurements are stored instantly in a relational database, via the MS SQL server. All metrics can be efficiently viewed by using the application we developed with the Windows Forms framework.
