Title:IZGUBE TRANZISTORJEV PRETVORNIKA ZA VODENJE BLDC MOTORJA

Abstract:V projektni nalogi smo določili izgube tranzistorjev trifaznega pretvornika za vodenje BLDC s simulacijami v simulacijskem okolju LTSpice in zgradili matematični model za njihov analitični izračun. Sestavili smo trifazni pretvornik, vezje za mrtev čas, tvorili smo PŠM in dodali bootstrap vezje za proženje zgornjih tranzistorjev. Preverili smo prevodne in stikalne izgube za 80W motor z 48V napajanjem in še za enak motor z 12V napajanjem. Zanimalo nas je, kako se odražajo izgube s spreminjanjem frekvence in mrtvega časa in kateri način ima manjše izgube. Na koncu smo preverili sestavo izgub v obeh načinih in primerjali odstopanja matematičnega modela in simulacije.

Title:Evaluation of power losses in inverters for a BLDC motor
Abstract:The aim of the project was evaluation of power losses in inverter for a BLDC motor. We examined conduction and switching losses of MOSFET and diode with simulations in LTSpice and we also built an analytical loss model. The entire circuit in simulation consists of three phase converter, dead time circuit, circuit for sinusoidal pulse width modulation and bootstrap circuit for high side MOSFETs. Estimation of power losses was made for a 80W motor with two different source voltages, 12V and 48V. Comparison shows which source voltage has lower losses. We monitored losses with changing frequency and dead time. At the end, we analyzed losses and compared results between the analytical model and the simulation.
