Abstract:V zaključnem projektu smo predstavili rešitev za krmilni sistem avtonomnega dirkalnega vozila, bolid formule študent GPE18. Vozilo smo izdelali v ekipi UNI Maribor GPE za namene tekmovanj formule študent. V bolidu je že bil vgrajen krmilni sistem za človeško upravljanje vozila, mi pa smo izdelali regulacijski sistem, ki v načinu avtonomne vožnje obrača kolesa glede na zahtevo avtonomnega računalnika. V sklopu naloge smo modelirali oz. identificirali sistem, poiskali smiselno opcijo za aktuacijo sistema, izbrali ali izdelali potrebne komponente ter na koncu opravili praktični preizkus sestavljenega sistema.

Title:Steering control system of an autonomous vehicle GPE18
Abstract:In this final assignment we presented a solution for the steering system of an autonomous vehicle. The solution was implemented on an electric racing formula student vehicle – GPE18. UNI Maribor GPE student team built the car with the intent to compete at formula student competitions. The car already had a steering system which is operated by the driver. We built a control system that turns the wheels when the car is in autonomous mode according to the signal sent by the autonomous computer. To make a working solution, we had to model and identify the existing system, find a proper way to actuate the system, find or make some of the needed components and in the end carry out a practical test to check how the assembled system works.
