Opis:Šola je pomembna vzgojno-izobraževalna ustanova, ki pripravlja učence na vstop v svet izzivov in priložnosti. S prebiranjem šolskih kronik sem želela raziskati razvoj II. osnovne šole Rogaška Slatina in njene podružnične osnovne šole Sv. Florijan, ki se ponaša z 200-letno tradicijo. Med II. svetovno vojno so partizani požgali šolsko poslopje, s čimer je zgorel ves šolski inventar, vključno s šolskimi kronikami, zato smo se podrobneje dotaknili delovanja šole od leta 1945 do danes. Zanimalo me je, kdaj in zakaj se je porodila ideja o izgradnji nove šole v Ratanski vasi, ki je bila sprva podružnična šola takratne Osnovne šole Boris Kidrič. Prav tako sem želeli ugotoviti, kako so se spreminjali pristopi k poučevanju ter vpliv ideologije na dogajanje v šoli v času socialistične Jugoslavije. Ugotovila sem, da je bilo na centralni osnovni šoli Borisa Kidriča iz leta v leto več učencev, zato je bila nujno potrebna gradnja nove šole v mestu. Načrt zanjo je bil izdelan leta 1979 in je obsegal tri faze. 1. septembra 1986 so učenci v osemletni osnovni šoli prvič sedli v šolske klopi v dokončno dograjeni novi šoli. Začetki šolanja pri Sv. Florijanu segajo v leto 1809, ko šola še ni imela lastnega poslopja in se je pouk odvijal v župnišču. Kasneje so učitelji poučevali v zasebnih sobah, prvo šolsko poslopje je bilo zgrajeno leta 1840. V socialistični Jugoslaviji je imela ideologija velik vpliv na šolsko dogajanje, kar se je kazalo skozi učno snov, različne praznike in interesne dejavnosti. Učence so izobraževali v duhu komunizma, vzgoja je bila determinirana s točno določenim ciljem: »Vzgojiti dobrega in poštenega patriota in državljana, ki bo pripravljen graditi socializem.« Pomembno vlogo v šolskem življenju je imela pionirska organizacija, ki je s pomočjo raznih izvenšolskih dejavnosti razvijala pripadnost domovini. Vrsto let je bil v ospredju frontalni pouk in učiteljeva razlaga, v zadnjih letih pa so začeli učitelji obeh šol v pouk uvajati sodobne metode in oblike dela. Sistematično so začeli z upoštevanjem živih znanj, ki temeljijo na otrokovi izkušnji in predznanju. Pri nastajanju teoretične magistrske naloge smo uporabili deskriptivno, komparativno in zgodovinsko raziskovalno metodo.

Naslov:The Development of II. Primary School Rogaška Slatina and Its Subsidiary Primary School Saint Florian
Opis:School is an important educational institution with a mission to take care of preparing pupils for their entrance into the world of challenges and opportunities. With the help of reading school chronicles, I want to do a research about the development of the Second primary school in Rogaška Slatina and primary school in Saint Florian as her branch which can boast with 200 years long tradition. In the period of World War II, the school facilities were burned down by Slovenian partisans. The fire completely destroyed school inventory together with the chronicles etc. That's why I have decided to do the thorough research of chosen topic from the year 1945 till nowadays. What I really want to find out is the reason when and why the new school in Ratanska village was built, where at first it was actually the branch of primary school of Boris Kidrič. Secondly, I also want it to point out how did the learning approaches change through decades and what was the ideology impact on everyday life in school at the time of Socialist Yugoslavia. I have discovered that with each year the number of pupils in the school of Boris Kidrič increased, what was also the main reason for building a new school in the city centre. The construction plan was laid out in year 1979 and it was comprising three different stages. On September 1, 1986 was the first time when pupils in 8 year lasting primary school entered the new school that was finally extended. Beginnings of teaching in Saint Florian date back to year 1809 when school didn't have her own facilities. Instead, the classes took place in parson's house. However, later on the teachers were teaching in private rooms while the first school facility was built in 1840. In Socialist Yugoslavia the ideology had a huge impact on school events, which was noticeable also through teaching material, different cultural holidays and interest activities. The pupils were taught in the spirit of communist ideology and education was precisely determined by an exact goal: »To educate a good and fair patriot and citizen who will be prepared to build socialism.« Pioneer organisation also had an important role in school life. With the help of different activities outside school area, this organisation was developing the feeling of belonging to the motherland. For many years the focus was on frontal education and teacher's explanation, but in the last few years or so the teachers from both school began introducing some new modern teaching methods. They systematically began with acknowledgment of living knowledge, which is based on child's experience and prior knowledge. While writing the theoretical master's degree I was using descriptive, comparative and historical researching method.
