Abstract:Zaradi stalne izpostavljenosti stresorjem tako na delovnem mestu kot izven njega je pozornost, ki jo delodajalci in sami zaposleni namenijo izboljšanju počutja ter na ta način zmanjšanju stresa, izredno pomembna. Izboljšanje fizičnega in psihičnega počutja posameznika zavira razvoj bolezni in nenazadnje povečuje produktivnost na delovnem mestu. Skrb delodajalcev za omogočanje pridobivanja znanja za obvladovanje stresa, ki predstavlja orodje za zdravo in manj stresno življenje, je pomemben korak k bolj zdravi družbi. V diplomskem projektu raziskujemo, kaj je stres, vrste stresa, kateri dejavniki ga povzročajo, kakšne so posledice stresa. Posebej nas zanima premagovanje stresa na ravni posameznika in na ravni organizacije. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega projekta stres opredeljujemo kot pojav, ki se v današnji družbi pogosto pojavlja tako v zasebnem življenju kot na delovnem mestu. Sama izpostavljenost stresu ni nič nenavadnega in je za napredek nujno potrebna. Problem nastane, ko se pojavijo zdravstvene težave, ki v najslabšem primeru ogrožajo posameznikovo življenje. Daljša izpostavljenost stresu poleg zdravstvenih težav vpliva na posameznikovo produktivnost, dovzetnost za napake, vedenje itd. tako v zasebnem življenju kot v organizaciji, kjer je posameznik zaposlen. Izpostavljenost stresu večjega števila zaposlenih lahko pomeni znatno povečanje stroškov za organizacijo, zato je pomembno poznavanje načinov za spopadanje s stresom na ravni posameznika in na ravni organizacije. V empiričnem smo na podlagi raziskave ugotovili, da so zaposleni v Podjetju X izpostavljeni stresu. V delu vprašalnika, namenjenemu ugotavljanju izpostavljenosti stresu, je bila večina odgovorov nad povprečjem. Najbolj pogosti dejavniki, ki povzročajo stres zaposlenim, so pomanjkljivo založena trgovina ter slaba organiziranost dela. Ti dejavniki povzročajo posledice, kot so slabe prehranjevalne navade in občutek, da so pod pritiskom. Večina zaposlenih se s stresom sooča s preventivnimi ukrepi, kot so določitev prednostnih nalog ter pogled na obremenitev kot izziv. V primeru, da se znajdejo v stresni situaciji, pa ne uporabljajo sprostitvenih tehnik. Na podlagi teh ugotovitev predlagamo managementu podjetja sistematično in načrtno zmanjšanje stresorjev z ukrepi, kot so team-building in prenovitev komunikacijskega načrta, upoštevajoč reorganizacijo poslovanja.

Title:A research on stress among employess in Company X
Abstract:Due to the constant exposure to stressors both at work and outside of it, the attention paid by employers and employees to improving their own well-being and thus reducing stress is extremely important. Improving the physical and psychological well-being of an individual inhibits the development of the disease and, ultimately, increases productivity in the workplace. Employers' concern for enabling education for employees to cope with stress, which is a tool for a healthy and less stressful life, is an important step towards a healthier society. In the diploma project, we investigate what stress is, what types of stress there are, which factors cause stress and the effects stress has. We are particularly interested in how to overcome it at the individual and organizational level. In the theoretical part of the diploma project we define stress as a common phenomenon present both in private live and in the workplace. The exposure to stress itself is nothing unusual because the stress is essential for progress. The problem arises when health problems caused by stress threat the life of an individual. Long lasting exposure to stress affects the individuals’ productivity, susceptibility for errors, their behaviour etc. both in private life and at their workplace. Exposure to stress of a greater number of employees can entail significant increase in expenses for the organization. Therefore, it is important to know the how to cope with stress at the individual and organizational level. In the empirical part of the paper, we found based on research that employees in Company X are exposed to stress. In a part of the questionnaire designed to determine the exposure to stress among employees most responses were above average. The most common stressor are poorly stocked trade and poor organization of work. The consequences that these factors cause are poor eating habits and a feeling of being under pressure. Most of the employees perform preventive measures to cope with stress with prioritizing work tasks and seeing work load as a challenge. But in case they find themselves in stressful situations, they do not use relaxation techniques. Based on these findings we would like to propose to the management of the company to a systematic and planned reduction of stressors by measures such as team-building and recasting of the communication plan, taking into account the reorganization of business.
