Abstract:Področje upravljanja tehničnega dolga velja za ključno točko v industriji razvoja informacijskih rešitev. Tehničen dolg je dolgoročno škodljiv. Na kratki rok ga lahko koristno izkoriščamo. Zaradi kontinuiranih sprememb na trgu in potrebe po agilnosti pri razvoju sodobnih informacijskih rešitev pridobivata sistematično vodenje in upravljanje tehničnega dolga vedno večjo veljavo. V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na metaforo tehničnega dolga in njegove tipe. Pozornost smo posvetili identifikaciji funkcionalnosti, ki jih razvijalci pričakujejo od orodja, ki bi jim pomagalo voditi tehnični dolg in pripadajoče aktivnosti ter pristope. Razvili smo spletno platformo in razširitveni modul izbranega razvojnega okolja za upravljanje tehničnega dolga.

Title:The tool for managing technical debt during information solutions development
Abstract:Managing the technical debt is a key point in development of information solutions. Technical debt is damaging in long term, but useful in short. Due to continuous changes in the market and the need of agile development of information solutions, systematic managing of technical debt is gaining importance. In this thesis focus is on the metaphor of technical debt and its types. The attention was paid to the identification of functionalities, expected from a tool, which helps developers manage technical debt, associated activities and approaches. We developed an online platform and plugin for integrated development environment for managing technical debt.
