Abstract:Angleški jezik je eden najbolj razširjenih jezikov na svetu, na področju zabave, trgovanja in na akademskem področju. Zaradi razširjenosti in vsestranskosti angleškega jezika se le-tega poslužujejo tudi oglaševalci, v želji po doseganju čim večjih množic. Velik del naše kulture tako predstavljata jezik in oglaševanje, slednje pa nas dnevno bombardira z oglasi takšnih in drugačnih izdelkov in storitev. Pogosto oglaševanje postavlja trende in zato je problematika uporabe tujega jezika v le-tem še toliko pomembnejša. V delu smo analizirali tri primere oglaševanja, ki vsebujejo angleški jezik, da bi ugotovili, kako pogosta je raba angleškega jezika v slovenskem oglaševalskem prostoru.

Title:The use of english language in advertising in Slovenia
Abstract:English language is the most widely spread language in the world. It is used in trading, academic field and the world of entertainment. Because of its wide spreading and multifunctionality, the language is also often used in advertising in other foreign countries. It is desired to achieve the crowds of people. The language and advertisements are a big part of each culture. We are daily bombarded with ads of products and services. In this paper we have analyzed three examples of ads that contain English words and we wanted to find out how often English language appears in Slovenian advertising.
