Title:Evalvacija i-učbenika za 4. razred - liki in telesa

Abstract:V vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu sta vloga in uporaba informacijske komunikacijske tehnologije vedno bolj prisotni. Zato poučevanje s pomočjo e-gradiv postaja vse bolj prisotno pri poučevanju. Pomembno je, da je prva izkušnja učitelja z e-gradivom pozitivna, saj bo takšen način poučevanja večkrat vključil v pouk. V pedagoškem eksperimentu smo preverjali učenčevo razumevanje geometrije, saj je razvoj geometrijskega mišljenja v veliki meri odvisen predvsem od poučevanja učitelja. Zato smo v magistrski nalogi, z naslovom Evalvacija i-učbenika za 4. razred – Liki in telesa, želeli ugotoviti dvoje. Zanimalo nas je ali vključevanje in uporaba i-učbenika pripomoreta k doseganju boljših rezultatov v znanju, in drugič, ali drugačen način posredovanja učne snovi, s pomočjo i-učbenika, pripomore k boljšemu razumevanju geometrijskega mišljenja na področju likov in teles. S pomočjo van Hiele-ove petstopenjske strukture smo želeli na končnem testu ugotoviti, kakšno je učenčevo razumevanje znanja o likih in telesih. V empiričnem delu smo uporabili kavzalno-eksperimentalno metodo z obliko pedagoškega eksperimenta, kjer smo podatke za analizo zbrali s pomočjo začetnega in končnega testa. Analiza je pokazala, da so končni test uspešneje reševali učenci eksperimentalne skupine, a razlika med skupinama ni bila statistično značilna. Med drugim smo ugotovili, da so težje naloge, ki smo jih umestili v stopnjo neformalne dedukcije po van Hiele-u, bolje reševali učenci eksperimentalne skupine.

Title:The evaluation of the fourth grade e-textbook - geometric shapes and objects
Abstract:The role and use of information and communications technology are getting increasingly present in the educational process. That is why e-learning materials are being more often used in teaching. It is important that the teacher’s first experience with e-learning materials is positive, as he or she will more often include such a teaching method in the learning process. In the pedagogical experiment, we examined the student’s understanding of geometry, since the geometric thinking largely depends on the teacher’s method of teaching. In the master’s thesis entitled The Evaluation of the Fourth Grade E-textbook – Geometric Shapes and Objects, we therefore wanted to establish two things. We were interested in whether the inclusion and use of e-textbook contribute to better results in knowledge, and secondly, whether the different approach to teaching with the help of e-textbook improves the understanding of geometric thinking in the field of shapes and objects. On the final test, we wanted to determine student’s understanding of shapes and objects with the help of van Hiele’s five-level structure. In the empirical part, we used causal-experimental method based on a pedagogical experiment, where the data for analysis was collected in the initial and final test. The analysis has showen that the students from the experiment group were more successful at the final test; however, the difference between the group was not statistically significant. Among other things, we have determined that the more difficult tasks, which we have placed in the level of informal deduction by van Hiele, were better solved by students from the experimental group.
