Abstract:Bistvo kadrovanja je povečati produktivnost organizacije z optimizacijo učinkovitosti svojih zaposlenih.

Title:Analysis of selection processes for student jobs
Abstract:Essentially, the purpose of Human Resource Management is to maximize the productivity of an organization by optimizing the effectiveness of its employees. In this context, it is important to attract and employ appropriately qualified personnel. From a financial, administrative point of view or seasonally-expanded workload, businesses are turning to student services that offer a flexible workforce. Students represent favourable workforce to cover the personnel deficit. While for young people, student work allows early integration into the labour market, either due to financial reasons, acquisition of work experiences or professional socialization. In the diploma thesis, we have analysed the selection methods that appear in the student work. We were also interested in how often and in what professional field they work, the reasons for doing it, etc. Collected data from questionnaires were analysed and we established that profession field of work differs according to the student’s field of education. There are also differences in the selection methods according to the student’s gender. Results showed that there are not any changes in the number of working hours per month according to receiving a scholarship. Moreover, differences were not indicated also between the study program and the amount of the hourly rate. On the other side, between the source of work and the selection methods were found statistically significant differences.
