Abstract:Magistrsko delo z naslovom Dvokulturnost in medkulturnost na avstrijskem Koroškem, s posebnim ozirom na delo Florjana Lipuša se je posvetilo raziskovanju dvokulturnosti in medkulturnosti v sodobni slovenski književnosti na avstrijskem Koroškem.

Title:Bi- and Interculturalism in Austrian Carinthia with special focus on the work conducted by Florjan Lipuš
Abstract:The Master's Degree, entitled Bi- and Interculturalism in Austrian Carinthia with Special Focus on the Work Conducted by Florjan Lipuš, focused on researching the biculturality and interculturality in contemporary Slovenian literature in Austrian Carinthia. The most emphasis was given to the analysis of the novels, written by Florjan Lipuš, and was predominantly focused on bi- and interculturality in all his novels. During the writing of the Master's Degree different research methods were used: descriptive, comparative, historical method, analysis, synthesis and the method of generalization and specialization. The first part of the Master's Degree presents a theory, which supports the analysis in the second, more extensive part. The second part included the literary analysis of all the novels, written by Lipuš: Zmote dijaka Tjaža (1972), Odstranitev moje vasi (1983), Jalov pelin (1985), Prošnji dan (1987), Srčne pege (1991), Stesnitev (1995), Boštjanov let (2003), Poizvedovanje za imenom (2013), Mirne duše (2015) and Gramoz (2017). The analysis first referred to the basic elements of the literary work: the theme, motifs, message, inner and outer structure and the narrator. Later the novels were analysed on the thematic, motif and stylistic level from the aspect of biculturality and interculturality. The analysis of the novel showed, that bi- and interculturality appear in all the author’s novels, but not on all novelistic levels.
