Title:Združena setev ozimnega dvorednega ječmena (Hordeum vulgare L. convar. polystichum) in dveh sort krmnega graha (Pisum sativum spp. arvense L.) v različnih gostotah setve

Abstract:Združena setev je primerna za vse pridelovalne sisteme. Njene prednosti so bolj raznoliki pridelki, bolj ekonomično izkoriščene njivske površine, manjša zapleveljenost, rahlejša tla in drugi ugodni vplivi na ekosistem. Združena setev graha (Pisum sativum spp. arvense L.) in ječmena (Hordeum vulgare L.) ob pravilni gostoti poveča njun pridelek, rastlinam dostopen dušik pa se bolje izkoristi. V našem poskusu je preučevana uspešnost dveh sort krmnega grah (`Kenzzo´ in `Angela´) v združeni setvi z dvorednim ozimnim ječmenom (Hordeum vulgare L. convar. polystichum) v treh različnih gostotah setve graha na pridelek. Najnižja gostota (G1) predstavljala 30 kalivih semen/m², srednja gostota (G2) 60 kalivih semen/m² in najvišja gostota (G3) 90 kalivih semen/m². Poskus je zasnovan po metodi naključnih blokov s štirimi ponovitvami. Pridelek ječmena je pri vseh obravnavanjih nižji od povprečnega pridelka v samostojni setvi. Na pridelek ječmena sorta in gostota setve graha nimata statistično značilnega vpliva. Povezava med G3 in sorto `Kenzzo´ (interakcija) je statistično značilno najvišja v primerjavi z drugimi kombinacijami na podparcelah, pridelek znaša 5,02 t/ha. Pri pridelku zrnja graha so se statistično značilno razlikovale vse tri gostote (p = ≤0,01). Najvišjo vrednost ima G3 z 0,53 t/ha, sledita ji G2 z 0,40 t/ha ter G1 z 0,30 t/ha. Sorta `Kenzzo´ ima statistično značilno višjo vrednost pri pridelku zrnja graha (0,53 t/ha) kot sorta `Angela (0,30 t/ha). Iz rezultatov sklepamo, da višja gostota graha doprinese k višjemu skupnemu pridelku v združeni setvi.

Title:Intercropping of Two-row Winter Barley (Hordeum vulgare L. convar. polystichum) and Two Varieties of Field Pea (Pisum sativum spp. arvense L.) in Different Sowing Densities
Abstract:Intercropping of different plant species is suitable for all production systems. There are many advantages of intercropping such as different types of yields, more economic usage of area, less weeds on fields, better soil structure, etc. The sowing of intercropped peas (Pisum sativum spp.) and barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) results in higher yields than in separate sowing, and efficient nitrogen use is higher, if it is used correctly. The suitability of intercropping of two different varieties of field pea and winter barley (Hordeum vulgare L. convar. polystichum) was studied. The influence of three different sowing densities of peas (varieties 'Kenzzo' and 'Angela') in the final intercropped yield was also observed. The lowest sowing density (G1) was 30 germinative seeds per m², the middle sowing density (G2) was 60 germinative seeds per m² and the highest density was 90 germinative seeds per m². The project was designed using the method of random blocks with four repetitions. The barley yield was lower than the average in single sowing in all treatments. There were no statistically significant effects on the tested parameters (variety and sowing density) in the barley yield. The yield was, in all treatments, beyond the long-time average. The treatment with the combination of high sowing density and the pea variety 'Kenzzo' has shown to be the most suitable in interaction, with an average yield of 5,02 t/ha. All three sowing densities of peas gave statistically different yields. The highest values were observed in G3 with a yield of 0,53 t/ha, followed by G2 with yield of 0,40 t/ha and G1 with yield of 0,30 t/ha. The pea variety 'Kenzzo' had a statistically higher yield (0,53 t/ha) than the variety 'Angela', with 0,30 t/ha. It can be concluded that a higher sowing density of peas has a greater benefit for the yield in intercropping.
