Abstract:V diplomskem delu je prikazana in opisana povezava med skladiščnim poslovanjem in informacijsko tehnologijo. Na začetku smo opredelili pojem RFID tehnologije ter predstavili prednosti njene uporabe v skladiščnem poslovanju. V nadaljevanju smo opisali smernice za izbiro strojne opreme. V praktičnem delu pa smo s pomočjo okolja Visual Studio in tehnologije WPF (Windows Presentation Fundation) prikazali delovanje prototipne aplikacije. Na začetku podrobno opišemo zasnovo, načrtovanje, izbiro uporabljenih orodij in tehnologij. V drugem delu pa opišemo ključne točke v implementaciji. Na koncu diplomske naloge smo navedli še nekaj potencialnih izboljšav.

Title:Information technology solutions for warehouse management using RFID technology
Abstract:The following thesis portrays and discusses the connection between storage operations and information technology. At the beginning, we defined the concept of RFID technology and presented the advantages of its use in the warehouse business. We have also described guidelines for choosing hardware. With the help of the Visual Studio environment as well as WPF (Windows Presentation Fundation), we have shown the functionality of a prototype application in the practical part. First and in great detail, we describe the scheme, planning and selection of used tools and technologies. In addition, we describe the key components in the implementation in the second part, as well as mention some potential improvements in the end of this thesis.
