Abstract:Diplomski seminar začenjamo z razlago in opredelitvijo poslovnih procesov, e-poslovanja in temeljnih dveh konceptov, ki stojita za njima – menedžmenta poslovnih procesov in poslovne informatike. V sklepnem razmisleku predstavimo idejo o menedžmentu poslovnih modelov in potrdimo hipoteze s področja informatike, menedžmenta poslovnih procesov in finančno-poslovnih učinkov teh področij na primeru Pošte Slovenije.

Additionally, we have presented business models, which are consisted of business processes and business informatics, nowadays. By holistically overviewing the aforementioned concepts we lead readers to understanding of how these novelties affect financial and business revenues in organizations themselves or within supply chains. The research part of our paper has been focusing on Post of Slovenia – presenting financial and business outcomes and both, the number of services and revenues that plummet nowadays and those that has surged for the past 5 years. In light of this, we have conducted a semi-structured interview with head of business processes in Post of Slovenia and a conversation with a professional from the field of business informatics. Finally, in the concluding part of our paper, we have presented the recently-evolved business model management along with the confirmation of our premises regarding business informatics, business process management and consequently the outcomes of these fields in terms of business and financial revenues (effects).
