Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen problem ravnanja z odpadki v Sloveniji. Problematiko smo raziskovali s pomočjo ankete, katero smo dali v reševanje državljanom Republike Slovenije in raziskav narejenih na to tematiko drugih avtorjev.

Title:Waste management in Slovenia
Abstract:This thesis represents the problem with waste handling in Slovenia. The purpose of this thesis is to study waste handling and to find out how many times the illegal waste handling appears and what its features are. This is just one example of ecological crime. In last few years waste containers are so full that the wastes are dropping out of them. In many cases there are wastes in a right containers but in an inappropriate way. For examplethe boxes are ment to be ripped apart in a smaller peaces. In that case we can achieve the maximum capacity of waste containers. We made the research of waste handling with a survey and the research of waste handling of other autors and sources on the internet. The survey was conducted from rezidents of Republic of Slovenia. The research showed us that people are well informed about waste handling but many of them do not care fort he handling rules. In our opinion people are not responsible enough and they are not thinking about the consequences if you do not obey the rules od waste handling. For breaking the rules of waste handling we suggest bigger civil money penalties. Wealso recommend raising awareness of waste handling and separation in schools, media and with learning leaflets at home where it all starts.
