Abstract:V tej diplomski nalogi obravnavamo sistem pametnih delcev, s pomočjo katerega vizualiziramo izbruh vulkana. V tem kontekstu najprej predstavimo teoretično ozadje sistemov delcev, njihovo predstavitev in strukturne lastnosti. V praktičnem delu naloge opišemo izdelavo scene ter predstavimo uporabo sistema pametnih delcev. Dobljene rezultate pa s primerjavo s profesionalnim izdelkom tudi ovrednotimo. Pri tem ugotovimo, da so omejitve pri končnem izdelku povezane predvsem s tehnološkimi zmožnostmi uporabljenega računalniškega sistema in se kažejo v vizualni kvaliteti svetlobnih učinkov. Iz geometrijskega vidika in vidika pravilnosti dinamike animacije lahko trdimo, da je izdelek primerljiv z referenčnim posnetkom.

Title:Visualization of volcano eruption with thinking particles
Abstract:This bachelor thesis focuses on the systems of thinking particle, that we use to visualize the volcano eruption. In this context, we first present the theoretical background of the particle systems, their representations and their structural properties. In the practical part, we described creation of the scene and the use of the thinking particle system. The obtained results are evaulated by comparing them with the professional product. We discovered that the majority of the exposed limitations is related to the technological deficits of the used computer system, as they can be observed in the visual quality of the lighting. From the geometrical perspective and in relation to the punctuality of the dynamics of the animation, we can confirm that the resulting product is comparable with the professional one.
