Abstract:Diplomski projekt proučuje etično ravnanje in uveljavljanje strategije verodostojnosti koncerna Volkswagen AG. V diplomskem projektu smo spodbujeni s tem dogodkom preučili njihovo ravnanje in ocenjevali njihovo etičnost in verodostojnost.

Title:Ethical Behaviour and the Credibility Strategy in the case of the Volkswagen Group
Abstract:The Bachelor project examines the ethical conduct and the implementation of the credibility strategy of Volkswagen AG. The German concern is the world's leading manufacturer of vehicles, which got entangled in a major scandal over the manipulation of emissions data in September 2015. In the project, we were motivated by this event to examine the behaviour and to evaluate the ethics and credibility of the concern. The Bachelor project provides a general theoretical part, which includes theoretical starting points of the company's policy, ethics, morality, ethics of the company and the strategy of the credibility of the company, which has been further divided in line with theory into responsible, communicative and innovative behaviour. In the practical part of the Bachelor project, we presented the Volkswagen AG Group, its company policies and declared responsibilities. We investigated the unwinding of the famous scandal when Americans discovered that Volkswagen AG vehicles produced much more exhaust gases than allowed. We examined how the Group responded to these findings, how much it was interested in solving the problems and how were the problems resolved. We were mainly interested in its credibility strategy, which helped to restore customer confidence. We also examined the business outcome and the balance sheet, which contained information about what happened in 2015 and 2016 with their profits.
Keywords:Volkswagen, scandal, emissions, exhaust gases, ethics, credibility.
