Title:Odnosi z javnostmi na področju medijskih kampanj

Abstract:V nalogi sem razčlenila in predstavila odnose z javnostmi v splošnem, njihove programe, tehnike in zgodovino. Zanima nas kaj to področje je in s čim se ukvarja, da lahko v nadaljevanju iz njega izhajamo. Osrednja tema so medijske kampanje, ki sem jih najprej opisala v širšem kontekstu, kasneje pa sem se osredotočila na volilne kampanje. Kot primer analize sem uporabila letošnjo predsedniško volilno kampanjo v Združenih državah Amerike. Celotno nalogo sem želela povezati z mediji - zakaj so pomembni, kako delujejo, kakšno vlogo imajo, to pa me je zelo zanimalo predvsem pri kampanji Trumpa in Clintonove. Tako odnosi z javnostmi kot kakršnekoli kampanje temeljijo na uporabi medijev in z njihovo pomočjo dosegajo cilje. Na podlagi teoretičnih izhodišč in preverjenih platform sem v empiričnem delu podala svoj predlagan model medijske kampanje. Vključuje potrebne korake do uspešne kampanje in lahko služi kot dodatna informacija oziroma nasvet.

Title:Public relations in the field of media campaigns
Abstract:In my master thesis I anaylised and presented public relations in general, their programs, tehniques and history. We are interested in what this area is and what it does, so we can relate to it in further chapters. The central theme are media campaigns, which I first outlined in a broader context, but later focused on the election campaign. As an example of the analysis I have used this year's presidential election campaign in the United States of America. I wanted to connect the whole master thesis with the media - why they are important, how they work, what is their role, and connect these cases in campaigns of Trump and Clinton. The public relations as any other campaign are based on the use of media and media helps them to achieve their objectives. Based on the theoretical basis and validated platforms, I submitted my proposed media campaign model in the empirical part. It includes the necessary steps to successful campaign and can serve as additional information or advice.
