Abstract:Kompetence imajo ključno vlogo v življenju posameznika. Brez dobro razvitih kompetenc zelo težko uspešno opravljamo delovne naloge. V magistrskem delu smo predstavili ključne socialne in delovne specifične kompetence zaposlenih Centra slepih, slabovidnih in starejših Škofja Loka. Magistrsko delo sestavljata teoretični in raziskovalni del. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili in pojasnili kompetence, njihove značilnosti in vrste. Posebno pozornost smo namenili predstavitvi kompetenčnega modela, saj predstavlja bistvo magistrskega dela. Obravnavali smo javne uslužbence, Zakon o javnih uslužbencih in Zakon o sistemu plač v javnem sektorju.

Title:MODEL OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES COMPETENCES IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL WELFARE
Abstract:Competences are very important in our life. We can not perform our jobs if we do not have well developed competences. In master thesis we try to introduce social and job-specific competences employees of Centra slepih, slabovidnih in starejših Škofja Loka. Our master thesis has two parts. In the theoretical part we explained competences and their features. Competence model is very important part of our master thesis, so we put some more attention to introduce its characteristics. Civil servants are also introduced as well as Civil Servants Act and Public Sector Salary System Act. The second part of our master thesis contains five research questions. We try to answer in these five research questions using different statistical tests. Employees of Centra slepih, slabovidnih in starejših Škofja Loka think, that they have well developed job-specific competences. More than social competences are expressed more are also expressed job-specific competences and vice-versa. We found out that there are statistically significant differences in evaluation job-specific competences between the two groups of employees, those which means that they have enough developed competences for work with elderly people and with those who means that they have not enough developed competences. There are also statistically significant differences in evaluation job-specific competences between the two groups of employees, those which means that they have enough developed competences for work with blind people and with those who means that they have not enough developed competences.
