Title:Povezava med starostjo očividcev in uspešno prepoznavo storilca kaznivega dejanja : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študija Varstvoslovje

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava prepoznavo storilca kaznivega dejanja pri očividcih različnih starostnih skupin. Pozornost, zaznavanje in spomin skupaj igrajo ključno vlogo pri pričevanju očividcev in prepoznavi osumljencev kaznivih dejanj. V sodni praksi se pogosto srečujemo z vprašanjem verodostojnosti pričanja. Starost posameznika je tako eden izmed glavnih dejavnikov, ki vpliva na proces zaznavanja, spominjanja in usmerjanja pozornosti. Človeško zaznavanje in spomin sta izredno pomembna in učinkovita v vsakdanjem življenju, pri pričanju v preiskovalnem postopku ali na sodišču pa se lahko izkažeta za nezanesljiva. Diplomsko delo obravnava področje prepoznave storilca kaznivega dejanja pri očividcih različnih starostnih skupin. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 136 oseb, 46 moških in 90 žensk: 41 osnovnošolcev, starih med 9 in 11 let, 42 mladostnikov, povprečno starih okrog 20 let, 24 delovno aktivnih, starih med 25 in 65 let in 29 starostnikov, povprečno starih okrog 86 let. Sodelujoči so si najprej ogledali enominuten videoposnetek s simulacijo kaznivega dejanja tatvine na mestni ulici, na katerem so zastopane vse štiri starostne skupine. Potem so s prostim besedilom izpolnili vprašalnik (strukturirani intervju) o tem, kako so doživeli prikazani dogodek in kako se spominjajo določenih podrobnosti, nato pa so med šestimi slikami izbirali najverjetnejšega storilca iz videa.

Title:RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AN EYEWITNESSE'S AGE AND SUCCESSFUL OFFENDER IDENTIFICATION
Abstract:The thesis deals with the identification of the offender by the eyewitnesses of different age groups. Attention, perception and memory play a key role in the eyewitnesses testimony and their identification of suspects of crimes. In judicial practice, we are often faced with the question of the credibility of the testimony. The age of the individual is also one of the main factors that affect the process of perception, memory and attention. Human perception and memory are extremely important and effective in everyday life, but may prove unreliable in testimony under investigation or in court. Thesis deals with the area of ​​identification of the offender in the eye witnesses of different age groups. The study involved 136 people, 46 men and 90 women: 41 primary school children, aged between 9 and 11 years of age, 42 adolescents, average age about 20 years, 24 persons labor active aged between 25 and 65 years of age and 29 elderly people, average age around 86 years. At the beginning research participants watched the one-minute video about the simulation of the crime of theft on city street, in which all four age groups were represented. Then they wrote the free text to complete the questionnaire (structured interview) about how they experienced the event and how they remembered certain details from the video, finally they had to choose the most likely perpetrator of the video from 6 photos.
