Abstract:
Polnjenje zalogovnika peči na lesne pelete predstavlja zamudno in prašno opravilo. Odločili smo se, da bomo izdelali polžasti transporter za dovod peletov do zalogovnika na peči. S tem pa bo delo potekalo avtomatsko in brez fizičnega napora. Na začetku diplomskega dela smo raziskali in pregledali že obstoječo literaturo na temo transportiranja na splošno in polžastega transporterja. Dotaknili smo se tudi teme o biomasi in lesnih peletih. V praktičnem delu naloge pa smo polžasti transporter izdelali, za kar smo potrebovali preračune parametrov in zasnovo s programsko opremo SolidWorks za tridimenzionalno modeliranje. Pripravili smo tudi vso potrebno tehnično dokumentacijo za izdelavo. Glavni del diplomskega dela pa predstavljajo preračuni rezalnih parametrov za izdelavo vseh nestandardnih delov. Za konec pa smo spregovorili še nekaj besed o vzdrževanju celotnega sistema transportiranja.

Title:
The design and development of the screw conveyor for transporting pellets
Abstract:
Filling the storage container of a wooden pellet heating boiler is time consuming and dusty. We have decided to design a screw conveyor for transporting pellets into the storage container of the wooden pellet heating boiler. Everything will be done automatically, with no physical effort involved. At the begining of the dissertation we have looked into the existing literature about transporting in general and about screw transporters. We have also checked some information about biomass and wooden pelets. In the practical part of this dissertation we have made the screw transporter for witch we have to calculate the parameters and designed the screw transporter with the SolidWorks software for three-dimensional modelling. All the necessary technical documentation has been made for the screw transporter as well. Main part of the dissertation are calculations of cutting parameters for all the non-standard parts. Our dissertation has been summed up with a few words on the maintenance of the entire transporting system.
