Še posebej izpostavljena skupina so ženske.

Title:WOMEN EQUALITY - COMPARISON SLOVENIA - NEPAL
Abstract:SUMMARY The principle of equality is the fundamental right of the individual in and before the law. It means that both women and men are all EQUAL, there are no differences between us. I, you, we are all EQUAL before the law. However, differences arise as not everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Especially women are in a very vulnerable position. Equality is of the utmost importance. Not only to fulfil one of the fundamental legal requirements but also to ensure the dignity of women and to give them a possibility to build a decent life for themselves. In case the principle of equality is breached the development of the society is difficult, almost impossible. Therefore, it is necessary to enable all women to be aware of their rights and to use them. This thesis analyses the principle of EQUALITY and focuses on the position of women. It takes into the account two important aspects: religion and education and compares the systems of the Republic of Slovenia and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.
