Opis:V magistrski nalogi smo raziskovali zadovoljstvo osnovnošolskih učiteljev v povezavi z ravnateljevim vodenjem šole. V teoretičnem delu se osredotočamo na poklic učitelja, njegovo vlogo v vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu, pomen profesionalnega razvoja ter pomembnih motivatorjev, ki vodijo k večjemu zadovoljstvu učiteljev pri delu. K slednjemu mnogo prispeva tudi ravnatelj s stilom vodenja. Uspešno vodenje šole je namreč eden pomembnejših dejavnikov zadovoljstva učiteljev na delovnem mestu, na osnovi slednjega pa se lahko razvije tudi učiteljeva pripadnost šoli. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili rezultate raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli na vzorcu 292 osnovnošolskih učiteljev iz vseh regij v Sloveniji. Zanimalo nas je, kako učitelji ocenjujejo posamezne dejavnike zadovoljstva pri delu, kakšen je njihov odnos do dela ter pogled na ravnateljevo vodenje šole. Ugotavljali smo tudi, kako učitelji ocenjujejo svojo pripadnost šoli. Pri tem nas je zanimal obstoj razlik med učitelji glede na delovne izkušnje, pridobljeni naziv, velikost šole po številu učencev in vzgojno-izobraževalno obdobje poučevanja. Temeljne ugotovitve raziskave kažejo, da so učitelji najbolj zadovoljni s samim delom in stalnostjo zaposlitve, najmanj pa z možnostmi napredovanja in s plačo. Nestalnost zaposlitve in nemožnost napredovanja sta hkrati dejavnika, zaradi katerih so v skrbeh predvsem mladi učitelji. Učitelji iz večjih šol so v primerjavi z učitelji iz manjših šol ocenili, da ravnatelj premalo vpeljuje novosti v šolo in redkeje spremlja njihovo delo s hospitacijami. Ugotovili smo tudi, da najvišjo pripadnost šoli čutijo prav učitelji z večletnimi delovnimi izkušnjami, saj radi opravljajo delo na šoli in tudi zunaj delovnega okolja o šoli govorijo pozitivno. Podatki, zbrani z vprašalniki, kažejo, da so učitelji, ki so motivirani za delo in zadovoljni z ravnateljevim vodenjem šole, na splošno zadovoljni z delovno situacijo in kažejo pripadnost šoli.

Naslov:Primary school teachers' satisfaction in relation to the head teacher's management of the school
Opis:This master's thesis examines primary school teachers' satisfaction in relation to the head teacher's management of the school. The theoretical part focuses on the teacher, their role in the educational process, the importance of professional development and important motivator factors which increase teachers' job satisfaction. The latter is influenced also by the head teacher and their management style. Successful school management is one of the key factors of teachers’ job satisfaction and can contribute to teachers’ sense of belonging to the school. The empirical part presents the findings of the research which was conducted on 292 primary school teachers from all Slovenian regions. We were interested in how the teachers evaluate specific job satisfaction factors, the teachers’ attitude to their job and their view on the head teacher’s school management. Also, it was of interest how the teachers assess their sense of belonging to the school. We were curious about the differences among the teachers regarding their work experience, title, the size of the school in terms of the number of the students and the educational period of teaching. The key findings of the study indicate that the teachers are the most satisfied with the work and the permanence of their employment and the least satisfied with the promotion opportunities and the salary. Particularly young teachers are concerned about temporary employment and the lack of promotion opportunities. The teachers working at larger schools do not think that the head teacher introduces enough novelty to schools and observes their lessons less often compared to the teachers working at smaller schools. It has also been found that the more experienced teachers feel the biggest sense of belonging to the school. Such teachers enjoy working at the school and speak favourably about it outside of it as well. The data collected by survey indicates that the teachers who are motivated for their job and satisfied with the head teacher’s school management are also satisfied with their job in general and exhibit a sense of belonging to the school.
