Title:UPORABA TERMOGRAVIMETRIČNE METODE PRI KARAKTERIZACIJI KOORDINACIJSKIH SPOJIN

Abstract:Namen diplomskega dela je ugotavljanje primernosti termogravimetrične analize pri karakterizaciji različnih koordinacijskih spojin. Karakterizirala sem že pripravljene koordinacijske spojine, dobro raziskano modro galico in manj znane hidroksilamonijeve fluoromanganate. Karakterizirala sem tudi cinkove koordinacijske spojine, ki sem jih sintetizirala iz cinkovega(II) acetata dihidrata in piridinkarboksamida (nikotinamid, izonikotinamid) v etanolu oziroma metanolu. Sintezne reakcije so potekale pri sobni temperaturi pri mešanju in refluksu. Preverjala sem tudi obstojnost pri hranjenju vzorcev, primerjala metodi mešanja in refluksa ter ugotavljala, če ima izbira topila vpliv na nastal produkt.

Title:APPLICATION OF THERMOGRAVIMETRIC METHOD IN THE CHARACTERIZATION OF COORDINATION COMPOUNDS
Abstract:The purpose of my diploma thesis is to assess the adequacy of thermogravimetric analysis in characterization of different coordination compounds. I have characterized pre-prepared coordination compounds, e.g. well researched copper sulphate and less known hydroxylammonium fluoromanganate. I have also characterized zinc coordination compounds, which I have synthesized from zinc(II) acetate dihydrate and pyridinecarboxamide (nicotinamide, isonicotineamide) in ethanol or methanol. Synthesis reactions have been carried out at room temperature while mixing and reflux. I have also been testing the stability of stored samples, I have compared the methods of mixing and reflux, and been researching whether the choice of a solvent influences the outcome product.
