Title:POŠKODBE ZGORNJEGA UDA PRI ODBOJKARJH IN NJIHOVA ZDRAVSTVENA IN REHABILITACIJSKA OBRAVNAVA

Abstract:UVOD: Odbojka, kot ena izmed mlajših športnih iger, je postala zelo popularna igra z žogo. Pravila igre pa se zaradi »mladosti« še vedno spreminjajo. Prav tako se zaradi vedno večjih obremenitev igralcev povečuje pogostost spremljajočih športnih poškodb. Pri tem je zelo pomembna preventiva, ki jo izvajamo s pravilnim planiranjem treningov. V primeru poškodb pa je zelo pomembna obravnava same poškodbe, torej diagnostika, zdravljenje in rehabilitacija. NAMEN: Namen diplomskega dela je na teoretični ravni predstaviti problematiko nastanka športnih poškodb zgornjih udov, njihovih vzrokov in njihove zdravstvene in rehabilitacijske obravnave ter preventive. METODE DELA: Za potrebe diplomskega dela smo analizirali domačo in tujo literaturo, kot tudi črpali iz osebnih znanj in izkušenj. Pri tem smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela. RAZPRAVA IN ZAKLJUČKI: Najpogostejše poškodbe zgornjih udov pri odbojkarjih so oteklina, izliv, ramenski tendinitisi. Poškodbe obravnava tim medicinskih strokovnjakov, v katerega je vključen tudi trener. S pravilno planiranimi treningi, zgodnjim prepoznavanjem simptomov in znakov poškodb ter sodelovanjem celotnega trenerskega tima lahko veliko poškodb preprečimo oziroma omilimo. Vsak trening je tako potrebno začeti z ogrevanjem telesa, kar predstavlja polovično zmanjšanje možnosti poškodb ob enem pa kvaliteto in učinkovitost treningov dvigne na višji nivo. Po treningu pa je nujna faza počitka, ki omogoča regeneracijo telesa ter njegov napredek.

Title:UPPER LIMB INJURIES AMONG VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS AND THEIR MEDICAL AND REHABILITATION TREATMENT
Abstract:INTRODUCTION: Volleyball has despite being one of the youngest sports games also become very popular ball game. Due to the game still being among the youngest in sport, its rules are still constantly changing. Frequence of accompanying sports injuries is increasing as well due to increasingly larger strains on players. Prevention for sports injuries is very important and it is carried out with the proper training planning. In the event of an injury the proper treatment is essential as well as diagnostics, therapy and rehabilitation. PURPOSE: The purpose of this thesis to present the problem of the occurring sports injuries of the upper limbs, their causes, medical and rehabilitation treatments and their prevention on theoretical level. METHODS: For the purpose of the thesis we analyzed local and foreign literature, as well as drawn informations from personal knowledge and experience. For analyzing we used descriptive methods. DISCUSSION and CONCLUSION: The most common injuries of the upper limbs happen when players swelling, bruises, shoulder tendritis. Injuries are treated by a team of medical expecrts, which also include the coach. With the properly planned practice, early recognition of the symptoms and signs of an injury and with the cooperation of the entire coaching team a lot of injuries and can be prevented or alleviated. Therefore each practice has to start with a warm-up, which minimizes the possibility of an injury by half, and at the same time raises the quality and effectiveness of the practice to a higher level. At the end of every practice phase of resting is necessary, which allows body to regenerate and progress.
