Abstract:Električni avtomobili postajajo vedno bolj konkurenčni klasičnim vozilom z motorjem na notranje izgorevanje, za kar je zaslužen hiter tehnološki razvoj v zadnjih petnajstih letih. Diplomsko delo vsebuje splošen opis električnega avtomobila. Najprej je predstavljena zgodovina teh vozil, njihovo delovanje ter razlika med električnimi in klasičnimi avtomobili na fosilna goriva. Obenem so predstavljene še polnilne postaje in njihova nahajališča v Sloveniji. Predstavljena je varnost električnih avtomobilov, podani in analizirani so testi trčenj med električnim in dizelskim vozilom. Analizirana je mestna vožnja z električnim avtomobilom in na koncu so podani predlogi za izboljšanje stanja.

Title:ELECTRIC CAR SAFETY
Abstract:Electric cars are becoming more competitive against their internal combustion counterparts due to the rapid technological development in the last fifteen years. Thesis contains a general description of an electric car, starting with the history of the vehicle and continuing with the discussion about their operation and the difference between electrical and fossil fuel consuming cars. Furthermore, we presented the charging stations and their deposits in Slovenia. We analysed the given crash tests between electric and diesel vehicles and assessed the safety of electric cars. Lastly, we analysed the urban driving with electric cars and added some suggestions for improvement.
