Abstract:	Od osamosvojitve Slovenije se soočamo s povečano negotovostjo na trgu dela. Obseg brezposelnosti je v tem obdobju kazal močan trend rasti, a tudi upadanja, vendar se je po začetku gospodarske krize po letu 2009 brezposelnost ponovno močno povečala. Propadle so številne panoge, ki so v preteklosti zaposlovale veliko število ljudi. Čeprav je na eni strani veliko število registrirano brezposelnih oseb, na drugi strani kljub temu številni delodajalci ne najdejo dovolj oseb, ki bi ustrezale njihovim pričakovanjem. Slovenija je – po vzoru številnih razvitih držav – prevzela in razvijala številne programe aktivne politike zaposlovanja. V teoretičnem delu prikazujemo predvsem razmere na trgu dela v Sloveniji, vrste brezposelnosti in njihove posledice. Skladno s tematiko diplomskega dela posebej obravnavamo ukrepe aktivne politike zaposlovanja in programa usposabljanja na delovnem mestu. Analiziramo empirične podatke o brezposelnosti in izvajanju programa Usposabljanje na delovnem mestu na ravni države in na Območni službi Ptuj, in sicer od leta 2006 do 2014. Preizkušamo veljavnost treh hipotez, posebej se osredotočimo na razlike pred gospodarsko krizo in v času krize ter na izhode v zaposlitev iz programa Usposabljanje na delovnem mestu.

Title:	WORKPLACE TRAINING AS AN ACTIVE LABOUR MARKET POLICY PROGRAM IN THE PTUJ AREA
Abstract:	Ever since the independence of Slovenia, we are facing increased uncertainty on the labor market. The extent of unemployment in this period showed a strong trend of growth, but also decline, then increased significantly after the start of the economic crisis in 2009. Many branches, that in the past employed a large number of people have collapsed. Despite the large number of registered unemployed, many employers still find it difficult to find enough workers that fit their criteria. Slovenia, following the example of several developed countries, adopted and developed several active employment policy programs. In the theoretical segment, we mostly describe the conditions on the labor market in Slovenia, the types of unemployment and their consequences. In line with the theme of the thesis, we specifically deal with the measures of the active employment policy and the program training at the workplace. We analyze the empirical data on unemployment and the implementation of the program Training in the workplace at the Regional Office Ptuj level from 2006 until 2014. We test the validity of the three hypotheses, focusing on the differences before and during the economic crisis, and the exits into employment from the program Training in the workplace.
