Title:ANALIZA ORGANIZACIJSKE KULTURE - PRIMER UPRAVNE ENOTE HRASTNIK

Abstract:Vloga organizacijske kulture v javni upravi je v svoji osnovi povsem enaka kot organizacijska kultura v pridobitnih organizacijah. Pojavlja se sicer nekaj razlik, ki so posledica specifičnosti dela. Organizacijska kultura s svojimi lastnostmi in značilnostmi vpliva na način, kako se sprejemajo odločitve, kako se uporablja človeške vire ter na to, kako se odziva organizacija na impulze iz okolja. Vse to dokazuje tudi njen velik vpliv na uspešnost organizacije. Prav zaradi tega je bistvenega pomena, da organizacija pozna svojo kulturo, se zaveda njenih prednosti in slabosti in jih v celoti izkoristi v svoj prid (Prašnikar, Cirman 2005, 65). Rdeča nit, ki se vleče skozi celotno magistrsko nalogo je organizacijska kultura na Upravni enoti Hrastnik. V prvem – empiričnem – delu smo preučili različne definicije organizacijske kulture, dotaknili smo se tudi organizacijske klime. Ko so bile definicije in razmerja med njimi jasna, smo preučili še vzroke za raziskovanje organizacijske kulture in vlogo organizacijske kulture v organizaciji. Organizacijsko kulturo v organizaciji smo opredelili tudi po tipologijah različnih avtorjev. Preučili smo še razvoj, oblikovanje, vzdrževanje, spreminjanje organizacijske kulture v organizaciji. V aplikativnem delu smo izvedli raziskavo na Upravni enoti Hrastnik, in sicer z vprašalnikom OCAI (Cameron in Quinn, 2006, 20–25).

Title:ANALYSIS OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE - CASE OF UPRAVNA ENOTA HRASTNIK
Abstract:The role of organizational culture in the public administration, is essentially identical to the role of organizational culture in profit organizations. There are naturally some differences, logically related to the specificity of the work. Organizational culture with its own characteristics affects the way decisions are taken, what are the human resources guidelines and the responses of organizations in the environment. All this proves how influential is the organizational culture in the success or the failure of organizations. That is why it is essential that the organization knows its culture, recognizes the advantages and weaknesses, to fully exploit their advantage (Prašnikar Cirman 2005, 65). The theme which runs throughout the Master's thesis is an organizational culture in the Upravna enota Hrastnik. In the first empirical part, we examine different definitions of organizational culture, we also study the organizational climate, and we examined the causes of researching organizational culture and the role of organizational culture in the organization. We also identified organizational culture by typology of different authors, we examine the development, design, changing the organizational culture, tendences within the organization. In the applicative part, we conducted a survey on the Upravna enota Hrastnik by questionnaire OCAI (Cameron Quinn in 2006). We interpret results, give suggestion and point out open problems.
