Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava požarno zaščito jeklenih konstrukcij v primeru požara, lastnosti in obnašanje jekla v požaru. Pojasnjuje osnovne pojme o nastanku in razvoju požara, faze požara ter vpliv požara na mehanske lastnosti jekla. Opisuje načine zaščite jeklenih konstrukcij pred požarom. Zaključek predstavlja primer analize jeklene hale v požaru.

Title:FIRE SAFETY OF STEEL BUILDINGS
Abstract:The diploma thesis deals with fire protection of steel structures in case of fire, the properties and behavior of steel in the fire. It explains basic concepts about the origin and development of the fire, phases of the fire and the fire impact on mechanical properties of the steel. It describes methods of protecting steel structures against fire. The diploma work is completed with an example of the resistance analysis of a steel hall in the fire.
