Abstract:

Title:
Influence of graded porosity on mechanical behaviour of cellular materials
Abstract:
In the diploma thesis, an analytical calculation of plastic wave propagation in metal foam AlSi7 is presented. Every necessary parameter and all assumptions for the analytical calculations are presented. Explicit dynamic calculations were carried out to determinate the plastic wave propagation for samples with constant and graded porosity. A relation for the velocity of plastic wave propagation which is based on numerical FE calculation is presented. Based on the results the differences between the numerical and analytical results are shown.
